Over Half a Century of Lathe Manufacturing Experience in Taiwan

The history of CHIN HUNG began in 1968. Founder Mr. C. F. Chang started a machining business with a single lathe on Zhongxiao Road in Taichung City. In 1973, CHIN HO Machinery Factory was established and began manufacturing lathes. In 1980, the company relocated to Daya District, Taichung City, and was reorganized as CHIN HUNG MACHINERY CO., LTD., continuing to expand its manufacturing capacity and overseas markets.

In response to growing production demand, a dedicated CNC facility was established in 1996 and officially began operations in 1997, expanding CNC lathe capacity to meet order volume and production requirements.

Since 1980, CHIN HUNG has cooperated with Kingston Machine Tool Mfg., Inc. to expand into the U.S. market under the KINGSTON brand. Beginning in 1985, the company entered the Japanese market through OEM cooperation with G-NET CORPORATION, supplying lathes under the HAMAMATSUKOKI brand. Machines exported to Japan were inspected by JMI at the time, providing an important foundation for CHIN HUNG’s international market development.
